The Municipality of Amadora is a Portuguese municipality, located in the Lisbon Metropolitan Area, created in 1979. It covers an area of 23.79 km² and has a population of 171,454 inhabitants. It is known for its development and for being one of the largest cities in terms of population in the Lisbon region.
